Introducing Rosie
This poor girl was been brought into rescue. We think she was about 12 years old and was in a terrible state. Her eye needed a minor operation, she was very thin (under 19kg), see the photos below and her nails were curled back on them selves. The owner said he didn't like vets !!!!!!!!!

We found a wonderful foster home for rosie with one of our regular fosterers, Martin who has lovingly nursed little Rosie Back to health.
Rosie was fed 4 times a day, with slow increases in food and worked up to a normal diet. She was checked by the vet and assessed for her eye operation. It was also identified that she has some dental work that needed taking care of.
Donations from supporters have taken care of the vet bills and Rosie has had her eye operation and some teeth removed. She is now recovering well and will be ready for her new forever home soon.

To end this story I would like to add a big thank-you to all those that donated money towards Rosie's treatment but in particular, to Martin for once again nursing a sick and needy dog back to fitness and health and showing little Rosie that the world is not all bad!
