Little Max - update 10th June devastating news

Post by Melliott »

Hello everyone,

I am so very sorry to give you all this update on behalf of Amanda and Jim.

As you all know Max is home after his op and recovering well. However you also know that Amanda and Jim were waiting for the biopsy results following Max's op. The vet called Amanda yesterday to let her know the results are back and devasting that Max has an aggressive form of cancer that won't respond to chemo, unfortunately surgery is not an option ether as the cancer has spread.

Please can I ask that you pray for Max, he may only have a couple of weeks and that time is so precious. Max has been a star throughout all of this and no-one could have done more for him than Amanda and Jim, who are utterly devoted to their boy. We pray they can stay strong for their boy, until the time comes they have to part. Not forgetting Zak who also is having chemo at the moment, such a terrible time for Zak too, who is coping amazingly well, but again we know this isn't a cure, just precious time together as a family.

Amanda and Jim, we are here for you, we can't express how devastated we are for you, and know you are naturally heartbroken.

We pray you can stay strong and that your boy is still happy and pain free.

Thinking of you all.

All our love and hugs

Michelle, Mark, Barney and Sally XXXX

Oh no, what to say. :cry3:

All my thoughts are with Amanda and Jim, they will be devastated it's so unfair, they have looked after and loved their boy to the highest standard and he will know nothing but love in his remaining time.
Lots of love, Janet, Pat, Barney & Lola xxxx

Amanda and Jim. So very, very sorry to read about your beloved Max I know how heavy this blow will be to you both and my heart goes out to you. I'm praying that Max is with you for as long as possible and all I can say is to try to make the most of this time.

I'm sending both your boys every positive and healing thought possible for them to stay pain free and happy for as long as possible. I'm so upset reading this and just want to send both your boys big hugs and my love and comforting prayers to you and Jim, this all seems so cruel and so unfair.

Take care, my thoughts continue to be with you all. xx
