Sleep tight Little Max - update

Post by Melliott »

Dear all,

I am so very sorry to let you all know on behalf of Amanda, Jim and Zak that Max made his final journey to the bridge today. Max was surrounded by his loving mummy and daddy and his brother Zak, in the home where he only knew love and kindness, something he never had before he was adopted by Amanda and Jim.

This is truly so sad, Max fought to the end, and his life cut far too short sadly he couldn't fight this final battle.

Amanda and Jim asked if I could pass on their thanks to all of you for your kind words, support and prayers for their beloved boy and for them too and for Zak.

When Amanda is feeling stronger I know she will want to pay her own tribute to the boy who gave her and Jim and his brothers too, so much love, and laughter.

For now sleep tight Max, run free with Milo at the bridge.

Love and hugs Amanda, Jim and Zak, thinking of you.

Michelle, Mark, Barney and Sally XXXX

Amanda, Jim and Zak, I'm reading this with tears in my eyes as Little Max was so loved by everyone on this Forum. When you adopted him he was such a gorgeous but frail looking boy but with your love and care he fought all his battles and looked so well and was full of life.

He was a testament to your love, he had a wonderful life with you and his brothers and I can imagine Milo and him running free at The Bridge. My heart goes out to you both and sending big hugs to Zak.

Run free dear Little Max - you were so loved and will be so missed xx

Dear Amanda, Jim and Zac,

I am totally gutted for you. This is the post I have been dreading.

Little Max was such a warrior and has left you (and us) far too early.

It goes without saying that my heart goes out to you. Take comfort in knowing that he has joined your beloved Milo at the bridge and they can run together and have fun, pain free in the knowledge that they were and will always remain in your hearts.

We are with you in spirit.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Many of us on this forum know exactly how you must be feeling now having being through it. We hope this thought helps.......it only hurts so much because you loved so much. Only a pet owner would understand all of this. You did the right thing by your precious boy and he will be ok and waiting for you one day
Very best wishes from Steve, Carolyn and fellow rescue labrador Roly. xxx

Amanda and Jim, I'm so, so sorry to read this post and know that nothing I can say will help how you feel at the moment
But, I really belief that somebody up there entrusted you with the special gift of Little Max.........because you were the people who would always go over and above to give him the love and care he was going to need.
My heart goes out to you,
:love2: Sleep tight Little Max
