My darling Annie. Has left for Rainbow Bridge.

Post by Aileen »

It is with a broken heart that I have to tell you that my precious Annie left for Rainbow Bridge this morning, helped on her journey by Hans, my lovely vet. She was x-rayed and a huge, inoperable tumour was found on her hip. She was a bundle of joy from the moment I picked her up from Labrador Rescue North West, aged 8 weeks, and remained that same bundle of joy until she left me today, aged 12. She just filled my heart with love, and that love she returned a thousand fold. She adored everyone and everything, especially her older Lab "sister", Maisie, who went to the bridge in March. To lose my two precious girls within 5 months is just devastating and for the first time in 54 years my house is empty, and my heart is broken.

Dear Aileen I'm so sorry to read about the loss of your beloved Annie she was such a beautiful girl and had a very kind and gentle face. It's devastating that it's come so soon after the loss of your Maisie and my heart goes out to you. I sincerely hope that all your happy memories of your two girls will, in time, bring you some comfort and help you to smile as you remember them.

Thinking of you at this awful time.

Run free dear Annie with your big sis Maisie xx

Dear Aileen, although I've posted on facebook, I just wanted to say how very sorry I am to hear this awful news. I can only begin to imagine how devastated you must be to lose your two beautiful girls in such a short space of time. I well remember your kind words when I lost my boy Barney in January 2016 and just want you to know I'm thinking of you.
Many hugs and prayers for you

So very sorry you have lost Annie, I can understand how heartbroken you are, and with losing Maisie not too long ago. Hold on to and think about those happy memories of the fun and love they gave, they will help you through and help to get to where you can think of them with a smile instead of a tear. Thinking of you. The picture you posted of her is beautiful.

Dear Aileen, I am so very sorry to hear you lost your beautiful Annie. I know how you will be feeling because we have lost our beloved Barney a week ago today. It's so very hard and I feel your heartbreak, nothing I can say will make you feel better, nothing can fill the emptiness in your heart.
Annie will have left you with such special memories, I hope they give you some comfort.
Run free special girl with my Barney boy.

Love and hugs
