A twilight home for Jess

Post by Glenys »

This lovely girl found herself in rescue this week due to the ill health of her owner

She is now living with Aileen who made the long journey to us yesterday from Scotland having lost her adorable old girls, Jess is now happy with Aileen.

Jess was only with us a night quite a record for a 12 year old lady xx

Well Aileen and Glenys I am lost for words and that does not happen very often!
I am thrilled for Aileen after such a traumatic few days and over the moon for beautiful Jess, Aileen it is such a long journey for you, but obviously so worth it, thank you so much.
Your two beautiful girls will be looking down and sending love to their mum and new sister.
Have a lovely life together.
Love from Liz Shelly Bonnie Molly Polly :love2: :love2:

That's wonderful. I'm so pleased for Jess and Aileen. So good of Aileen to drive all that way, but "Jess is worth it", a lovely girl to mend a broken heart.

Be happy both.

That is fantastic news, special thanks to Aileen for taking her on at a difficult time. Jess is in very good hands.

Thank you for all your kind thoughts. Jess was most certainly worth every mile of the journey to MKF and she has settled in really well. She has been to see the vet, had her first inoculation, and was given a clean bill of health. She goes back for her second inoculation on Friday morning. She is certainly helping to heal an aching heart, having lost my precious Annie and Maisie so recently
She has become best friends with Frosty, my next door neighbours' lab, and loves everything and everyone.
Here is the little star, herself.
