Dental work for Bonnie tomorrow update 24th Oct

Post by Liz5353 »

Bonnie has to be at the vets at 9.30 in the morning, she is having dental work as yet we do not know what as she would not let our vet have a proper look.
Please wish us luck as we all worry when our girls and boys have to spend time at the vets.

Morning Liz, I'll be thinking about Bonnie tomorrow it's always a worry when they have to go in for any procedure. Hope all is well when the vets can see into her mouth and that she's back home and enjoying a special cuddle asap.

Hello everyone
Thank you so much for all your good wishes for Bonnie: well she is home but without having the surgery.
The blood tests are showing high enzyme levels in her liver, quite a lot higher than a year ago, so our vet Jill wants a further check on them and a thyroid check, if there is not a reasonable conclusion she will have a scan maybe next Monday.
I feel really stressed as I or the vet did not expect that. I will try to get a urine sample today or in the morning as this would also be useful.
Thanks for everything and we will see how we go.

Sorry to read about Bonnie, Liz but it does sounds as if your vet is on the ball and will get to the bottom of her blood results. Sending her buckets of positive and healing thoughts that whatever is the cause of her problem will be able to be remedied or managed easily. :love3: these are for you as I know how worried you will be.

Please give Bonnie a big hug from me x :love2:

Aww, Liz, I'm so sorry things didn't go as expected at the vets, fingers crossed you get some answers and I really hope things are ok, you must be very stressed at the moment, it's very hard when something un expected develops, please keep us posted.

Just catching up Liz. Keeping everything crossed that Bonnie is ok. My understanding is that liver enzyme readings can vary, so I’ll keep all crossed that it’s just a blip. I know you’ll be worried all, so big hugs from me. :bighug: :bighug:
