Cyprus Mattie

Post by fittonia »

Kalimera everyone,
I now live in Berkshire with Daisy and Pollie two black labs. I've been to the vet and had detailed Xrays and all my rotten teeth have been removed. I am bathed twice a week and my skin is much better. Mum checks my eyes and ears every day and both are improving. Cos my hips are bad I'm only allowed two 10 minute lead walks a day but I can't resist chasing the odd squirrel. I like living here but its much colder than Cyprus but the food is good and I get to help with the dishwasher prewash by licking the plates. Thankyou for getting me to England.
Love and licks from
Mattie

Aw bless you Mattie. What a lovely update. Never mind that it's not as warm as Cyprus. Berkshire is a lovely place to live - in fact, I'm coming to Berkshire in a couple of weeks, for the weekend. It's a very special place for me.

So lovely that you're settling in and getting all the care and love that you so deserve. :love2:

Keep us updated!

So pleased to hear you are now being loved and well cared for, your new home sounds idyllic. Your new mum and your sisters are obviously really pleased you are settling in to your new life. Hopefully you will soon get used to the cold weather and I'm sure your mum will get you a warm winter coat if your hips continue to give you trouble.

Wishing you a long and happy life with your new family :love2:

We have had Mattie for just over a year now and although being a high maintenance itchy dog she is flourishing. Since she arrived she has coped with several changes to our labrador family. Sadly Pollie developed an aggressive cancer and was put to sleep but on 1/1/18 we took on Sienna a beautiful chocolate lab aged nine. So we now have three labs one of each colour. Recently a friend got a black lab pup and Daisy, Mattie and Sienna and helping to socialise her and tame her o.t.t. ways. Mattie reprimands her with a little growl.
