Can you help?

Post by Lins »

I hope I'm not standing on anyone's toes but I just want to give a heads up to all you lovely people and supporters of the rescue of the 20 dogs that you maybe unaware of if you don't use Facebook.

These are being rescued by Glenys and team and donations are rolling in via Facebook.

I have donated via PayPal using this site. Please feel free to do the same!

Thanks.
Lins, Molly and Scooby

You beat me to it, Lins. I was going to suggest exactly the same thing.
This will be a mammoth task for Glenys and the team and also a very costly one too, I’m sure.
I would urge everyone, if they can, to please send a donation, however small, to help out with this major operation.
Love,
Aileen xx

I've donated via this site too, just put a note on to let Glenys know it's for the 20 dogs. This is a huge rescue for Glenys and her team and will be very distressing for both dogs, the owners and the team. Seeing dogs so scared when they should be jumping round enjoying your company is heartbreaking to witness.

Thinking of everyone working with these rescued dogs :love3:

We don't judge at Lab Rescue as you know.

Some people just let things get out of hand and can't cope any more. This is an elderly couple, the lady is deaf and her husband is in intensive care. Many tears have been shed. It's hard enough for some people to hand one dog over, what must she feel like handing so many over?

Onwards and upwards now for these lovelies. They are in the right hands now and are on the long road to recovery.

Some need vet treatment but, I think (not having seen the dogs myself) that a lot of tlc and patience is required.

Needless to say, it will not be cheap to get these dogs to where they deserve to be, hence my reason for posting on the site. I know there are a lot of supporters don't do facebook but would be more than ready and willing to help in any way they can.

Hope this helps.
