Sooooooo...we rescued one of the pups today. His name is currently undecided but soon coming out of his shell!
Name suggestions?
*UPDATE*
We’ve named him Arthur

Day one with Arthur. Slept with Milo downstairs and didn’t fret which was good. Tried him for a little walk and he did great!

Elvin was adopted

This is what Elvin's new daddy had to say...............

Hello Everyone, we have just had the pleasure of adopting Elvin, one of the 20. He Joins our current dog Tala who was a rescue dog six years ago. Meeting Elvin an hour or ago he was quite shy and nervous. All it took was the half hour journey home before he started to settle. We will update you over the next few days as to his progress. We are feeling very lucky to have been given the opportunity to look after such a beautiful boy.

Day 3 of Elvin’s new life in his new home. He is settling in quicker than we could have possibly imagined. Feeding well (he is a lab though), sleeping better, learning how to walk on his harness etc. He’s still very nervous of strangers but that will improve in time. He’s getting on great with Tala, although at the moment they are just accepting each other’s presence. We are off to Anglesey for 4 days tomorrow, can’t wait to see how he is on the beach for the first time ! We are loving watching his development and I’m pretty sure he loves being here

Female Puppy - Matilda (in foster with Abi) - update from Abi

Matilda is starting to play with toys and play with the dogs with them too. At first her body language was too confusing for poor Baby Bernard but after a few days of learning how to communicate better she's got the knack and there's no stopping her now she even retrieves (Matilda is the smaller dog)

Austin - still in Foster with Gina

Shandy - in Foster (with me)

After collecting her on Sunday afternoon and her being a little bit apprehensive especially on the way back travelling in the van she settled within an hour or so she has turned out to be a little cuddle monster. We gave her a couple of hours then decided to take her on a short walk it turns out she is really good on the lead although a little unsure on which side to walk on but has now settled on the left hand side.
She is a little bit cheeky we do call her "little magpie" as each morning when we wake up and come downstairs she has a collection of items on her bed..... slipper, shoe, hats, dog leads and most surprising of all car keys........ any thing that is left where she can reach it.
She is so gentle and quiet and ever so loving we feel in the few days she has been here she has come on in leaps and bounds.

I'm sure that you can appreciate how busy everyone is at Rescue but I am sure updates will be along soon

Great Update. Thank you to everyone. Well done to the pups for settling so quickly. Hopefully fosters will also soon have a home to call their own.

Like Maggie's pups - six years on - hopefully this is a story that can keep running for many happy years.
