Prescription diet

Post by P_P »

Morning everyone
I’ve not been on the site for a while but need some advice/help so hope you don’t mind me asking
Parker (10yo choccy boy) has recently been diagnosed with kidney issues & I have been advised by my vet to put him on a kidney specific prescription diet
Been having a look online & royal canine or hills seem to be the best - leaning towards hills as I’ve used that before & they do a joint care/kidney all in one
Just wonderering if anyone has a similar issue if they can recommend anything or any advice
Also not sure if he can still have his regular treats
Thanks
Gill Parker & Poppy xx

Sorry to hear about your lovely Parker and hope someone comes along who can give you some advice. Unfortunately I haven't experienced anything like this but send buckets of positive and healing thoughts to Parker.

Can I suggest that you actually ring Hills and see seek advice through them or can you vet not help you?

Hello, all I can add is that I have used Hills Prescription for joint issues and it worked well. Good luck.
