A happy new life for Max

Max 6 months came in with Daisy ( new mummy )
Hi Glenys Just an update on Max. He is doing really well and has settled quickly. I'm delighted he's fitted in with all my other animals. In the last fortnight he has learnt to walk in among the chickens, refrain from chasing my cat!, ignore the alpacas and keep his distance from the horses.
He has met other dogs and people and, although still a little timid, has greeted them without any aggression. This excludes the postman however. I think he's going to make a very good house guard!
He walks beautifully on the lead and to heel when off it (does that naturally, no imput from me).
He loves travelling in the car and sits patiently waiting if I am not in it.
He stayed with Margaret my sister in law last Thursday when I was away for the afternoon and she said he was the perfect guest.
All in all a very successful fortnight!
With best wishes, Jane
