A bittersweet update on Daisy and pups story

Thought I would give you an update re Daisy and the pups. Sorry they are few and far between. I just haven't had the time or the answers but I can now update you with things so far.
We had limited options for more tests. We opted for a blood test. If the results came back raised it would mean they had a heart condition. If it came back normal it wouldn't mean they were ok Sadly Bunty's results came back very raised and vets confirmed she has a very short life expectancy Bensons results came back as normal.
Unfortunately the pups can't have a cardiologists scan until they are 6mths old and the vets didn't think they would be able to see much on their own scanner. But they have a locum vet with them and she wants to be a cardiologist. So my vets offered us freee scans with the locum to see what they could see.
As we knew Bunty's heart isn't good at all. Her heart isn't pumping enough blood round her body so everything has to work a bit harder - she isn't 'ill' or 'sickly'! She has been prescribed meds to help her heart work better and meds to help lift any fluid that may build up.
Bensons heart looks to be in the high end of normal - not quite going to abnormal but with the knowledge that regular testing will need to be done - for which the result will support him.
With all this information in place and passed on it was finally time for benson to go to his new home and become the Arthur he's been waiting to be. An amazing home that has supported him from day one Bunty will remain with the Crabi ( Craig Abi ) gang. We don't know how long she will live and we know there is more heartache ahead but we feel it is best for her to stay here and live out her days
Daisy has grown in character confidence and personality daily and it was her time to fly the nest also. Beautifully Daisy has gone to live with a fabulous couple who were going to adopt one of the pups originally. This just melts my hearts for many reasons.
She is doing really well and settling very well. She's still shy and can be nervous out and about but they love her to bits and will help her grow in confidence everyday.
I personally want to thank everyone for the generosity and support. It overwhelms me how much we all pull together when needed and for that I thank you xxx
