Labrador a Cautionary Tale

Labrador a Cautionary Tail ( Copyright labrador rescue north west )

This Labrador Puppy you ought to know
Though now small and cute will grow and grow
A reputable breeder will tell you so
A puppy farmer simply wont want you to know
They do not tell you the things that he may do
Like chew through a wall as well as a shoe

That left all alone throughout the day
Unable to socialise and to play
This pup will be very sad and start to look
For a remote control or your favourite book
He will whine and cry and miss you as well
So when you return why give him hell?

When you finish your rant and rage
Some stupid person suggests a cage
The day then stretches the hours are slow
Locked in a cage with nowhere to go
Why can’t you remember though grown very well?
His brain is a puppy and he can’t tell
That when he’s alone and you’ve gone away
He must be good for the rest of the day

The cute pup grew so much you say
Too much to cope with and sent on his way
A sad end to the tale I know
But labrador rescue will save the day

We Will find somewhere else for this dog to live
With people who planned and waited a while
And have so much joy and love to give
And reward his antics with a lovely big smile
Please think well before buying a pup
Do the research! Buy the book
Remember the puppy can live many years,
Please do not let in all end in tears
