What did I do wrong
To make them not love me.
What did I do wrong
To make them not care.
Love them, did I
With all of my being.
But now,
Where have they gone?
Alone in a room.
Solitary confinement.
A prison sentence
But no crime.
When will this end
My pain and torment.
To the door
Who holds the key?
I try to show them I'm suffering.
I try to show them I hurt.
But I know nobody's listening
So I lie here,
Completely inert.
But now
A much needed rescue.
Someone to open the door.
Yes, Someone is here to love me
Someone, who heard my call.
Pain is now a stranger.
Freedom, Pleasure mine.
The joy of knowing someone loves you
That joy is mine, all mine.
