I have just had a call from Dog Lost, as Jet's details are on their site, and the lady I spoke to has have said that their members will certainly join in the fund raising also which is good news too.

Thank you all so much xxxxxxxx

The photo's have arrived. Particulaly Jet2 and Jet4 are pretty unmistakable. I'll be VERY surprised at any diagnosis other than Cherry Eye, a prolapse of the tear gland of the third eyelid. I'm as convinced as it's possible to be without seeing the dog.

Regards, John

What a beautiful girl, so sad that she was left when needing treatment, I can never understand why people gets dogs if they give up so easily at the first sign of trouble.

I will send through some £1's for this girl :thumbright:

Isn't cherry eye the problem that great dane's and bloodhounds etc with droopy eyes? I've never heard of it in a lab before. Poor girl she must be in a lot of pain. She's absoloutly gorgeous. Hopefully there will be some form of treatment and she'll be fighting fit in no time.
