Rest in Peaces dear Vax

Post by Glenys »

Well Sam is in mourning :D

When we came here 4 years ago we went to auctions a few times for stuff for our stall at bygone times we bid on a lot that included an old Vax which we intended sendind to the tip as it was the other item we wanted.
Anyway the lot we managed to buy was £1 for 4 items :D
When he got home Sam tried the vax it had been used as a builders tool so you can imagine it was well used anyway he cleaned it up and it was great he uses it to vaccum the dogs hairs out of the kennels and dog beds, and is used almost every day Sadly poor Vaxxie has now gone to the great Vax heaven and Sam is bereft.
best £1 we ever spent,so if you see an old vaccum cleaner Henry or vax then we can give him a good home :D :D :D

ahh! My comiserations to Sam!!

Seriously though - have you thought of looking on Freecycle? (http://uk.freecycle.org/). There is a group in Chorley (and many other places) (see http://groups.yahoo.com/group/freecycle-chorley/) . You sign up (free) to your local Freecycle group(s).

It is a way of finding new homes for unwanted things - so if someone wants to get rid anything, they can post on the message board - someone else may want it. No money changes hands - it's basically recycling. Maybe someone wants to get rid of a Vax!!
