Anyone else ?

Post by Glenys »

Anyone else drive themselves nuts with Christmas shopping ? ive done most of it online got Christmas bags for each one big one each for the children completely forget whats in them all ! ended up buying two identical things then you get, how much do I spend on each and is it enough? got three things for them have to get three for them BAM.
My freind just give cash but that doesnt seem like a gift or a gift without thought but I bet its better than something they dont want :2090: Sam has more draws full of gifts upstairs not that he doesnt like them but if they are hankies or socks he says Im not opening them they will get lost in the wash ! bearing in mind they are lost in a draw instead for five years .
any ideas Sam says write the contents of the Christmas bags on the outside  I swear he has slept through all my wrapping and shopping hes asleep now even .
Im buying him this year the same as he bought me for the past birthdays and Christmases

I gave up Christmas shopping several years ago it drove me nuts as you say,.
All I shop for now is our girls and my friends 2 dogs, makes life very much easier and it is great watching the girls carrying their parcels around on the 25th.
But we all have to do what we are happiest with and enjoy .
Love Liz Shelly Bonnie Molly n Polly xx.

I shop early and if I ever I lose my "Christmas book" with everything written in for each Christmas I would be utterly up the proverbial without a paddle.
I have a reputation of being organised but without my precious book I would be hopeless!

Went shopping 2 weeks before end of November before everyone got their last pay cheque, and it was quiet and even had sales on - now only need fresh food - turkey bronze is in the freezer so no stress here - its only for 1 day anyhow and a lovely roast dinner!!
