Couldn't have my endoscopy today because I had had a cup of tea within the 6 hours no food, my fault but i only had a couple of teaspoons of milk, about 4 hours before, but I could have had bacon, eggs, black puddings, tomato, fried bread, baked beans a few rounds of toast 6 and half hours before and that would have been OK work that one out? Now waiting for another date.

Oh Kath! I confess....I can't work that one out!!

Im going to southport hospital today they say bring all your medication I would need a low loader

Hi Kath,

Hopefully you won't have long to wait for the procedure.

Milk delays gastric emptying which then gives a worse mucosal view of the lining.
