Information on Northwest beaches

Postby coco-bean » 10 Apr 2018, 22:50

Hi all

Just read on instagram that beaches from North Wales to past Blackpool are off limits to dogs, a 26 year old ship wreck has broken up and spilled its cargo of palm oil?? If licked or eaten by dogs it can kill them within minutes.

It says it has already killed dogs in the Southport area, just thought I would post it here not sure how bad it is but it also says contact the local tourist information centre before taking your dog on the beach.

Thank you Debbie. That includes where we live, and there have been no warnings locally. We’re not taking any chances at the moment.
