Thanks to everyone for your nice comments. I really should take the camera with me every time we go out so you don't miss out on Bryn's busy social life. For example, Dolly, a rather portly English Bull Terrier who got quite playful, and a young lady Choc Lab who was in season and actually threw herself at Bryn who was quite surprised and not a little flattered.

Bryn looks as though he's thinking of food.....situation normal then !
Snacking on grass
Just enjoying his walk, as always
Everyone who's been adopted by a rescue dog will know how you pick up on things from their previous lives, one of Bryn's was the mad dash into the garden first thing in the morning and last thing at night, any other time apart from walks he would look at me as if to say "I'd like to but I'm not allowed." It's only quite recently he's been really comfortable about wandering in and out whenever he wants....as you can see.....
The bottle was one of Jack's which I like to keep as a reminder....as you do......

Alfie, who sometimes goes underneath Bryn, causing me to hope that Bryn doesn't sit down suddenly.......
Poppy tries to get Bryn's ball while Bryn wonders if Auntie Jackie's pockets might contain nibbles.....
Bryn gets a fuss while Daisy pretends not to be jealous...

Millie and Lucy.....dignified mature lady Basset and Irish rescue Goldie, mud enthusiast and mischief maker (but only occasionally)
