Kizzy's First Holiday
Posted: 31 May 2010, 19:04
Early start and arrived in Conwy on a lovely sunny morning at 7.30am.
Kizzy looks over towards Deganwy.....
Next stop, Caernarfon, where we watched the bridge open to let a boat through (it just closed before we got the camera out, but she was more interested in looking for scraps of food)....
On to Morfa Nefyn and parked at the National Trust car park.......
Her first taste of the sea as we walked along Porth Dinllaen beach to the Ty Coch pub http://www.tycoch.co.uk/index.php?optio ... &Itemid=30.........
Finally arrived at our cottage......http://www.nefynholidays.co.uk/index.ph ... tails.html.. in a lovely setting.
It is next to Felin Uchaf, well worth a visit....http://www.felinuchaf.org/
She made new friends that live in the field right next to the garden..
Also, some lambs intrigued her because they didn't run away!!
She saw some more up at Rhiw which overlooks Hell's Mouth....
In Aberdaron she caused a bit of a disturbance when she was determined to get this stick (?!!) out of the river. People were lined up on the bridge laughing!!
She met a new friend- 10 1/2 week-old Danny...
At the end of each day, this was the same picture......
Only problem, she came back with an eye infection (think it was the sand) followed by diarrhoea (neither of which seemed to curb her enthusiasm, but worried me!) So first thing, visit to the vet. Turned out to be an expensive holiday!! But we enjoyed it so much have booked again for July and again in September.
