New beginnings new name..............
I think I have kept you all in suspense long enough.
We found calling this lad Shadow difficult partly because you expect a black dog to be Shadow, or at least I do, and partly because you think things like " he is a shadow of what he should be " etc etc
We went throught a discussion of names and tried to avoid the obvious ones like Slim.
We have a bit of a history of naming our animals after our friends, our donkey was Garry after a friend, Mij is named after a friend Jim ( i refused to shout Jim after a dog ) and so we are carrying on it that tradition.
We have a friend who is a Scot and like many Scots on important occasions wears a kilt and quite honestly with his legs he should not, Geoff commented that the dogs legs were just as spindly as our friends and we just looked at each other and both said his new name together........ so drum roll please............... we have named him Norrie
Our friend is a Norman but always known as Norrie and as my son pointed out Fat Boy Slim the dj is a Norman as well and one day we hope to have a fat boy so with my convoluted logic the name is very apt.
Ky and gang and Norrie

Love it! It's an unusual name, which I think Norrie needs as he is a very special case at the moment.
Nice one

Excellent name - Norrie; you get well soon, although in Auntie Ky's care I am sure you will be fine
When one door closes another door ALWAYS opens- and we may never know what the grand plan is, but believe me, the universe will give you everything you deserve if you just have faith. Karma is a beautiful thing.
