This week's guests left all the food in plastic boxes on the floor in the kitchen when they arrived. (Needless to say they don't have a dog!)
Bob spotted his chance when I was greeting them by the open cottage gate and without more ado grabbed a packet of scones! Very embarrassing. I threw the packet away and went shopping for a new packet of scones and a bottle of wine to say sorry!
Luckily the guests found it hilarious.
I advised them to close the gate to prevent future visits!

It’s a while since I’ve posted anything on this link for which I apologise.

Please review the whole of the thread for full details of the cottage.

At present the cottage is fully booked for the immediate future as I am only letting on alternate weeks as a protection against Covid. However, as more and more of us are fully vaccinated and in the hope that the present minor surge retreats, I will be releasing the blocked alternate weeks.
