scotland again

As we all have dogs and may want to take them with us... have you any suggestions for holdiay destinations etc that are dog friendly and where you had a great time?

scotland again

Post by mcca »

we didnt get our easter hols cos of ill health and weather so we decided to risk a hol in the summer we usually dont cos of the cost and difficult of travel with hot dogs
we struck gold
welcome cottages ref 23696
comgall
dunadd farm
lochgilpead

we had 2 bedrooms 2 baths on esuitable for the disabled
large living dining kitchen room with 2 huge glass sliding doors
there was a smaller cottage next door for 2 people and 2 dogs
we were worried that the garden wasnt enclosed but the family insisted that the dogs should roam with their dog and as we were upalong semi private road it was ok the small river in the garden is unfenced part of the way and bracken and jess had some fun in there but it wasnt too deep the dog towels got a bashing we were careful towatch where they were loads of places tovisit an ancient monument in the grounds to climb not that i could and beautiful scenery we also went to mull and arran on the ferry

Sounds like you had a great time - Arran is very beautiful - I loved it when i went there and Lochgilphead just the place to take the short ferry across.
I am biased - I am scottish after all!!

It is a nice spot we went there just over 22 years ago! It probably hasn't changed much in that time. Pleased you had a good holiday.
