We have just come back from a weekend away - staying at the dog friendly The Forresters Hotel in Middleton in Teesdale. It has a lovely French run restaurant - the meals were excellent.
It is 4 miles from High Force waterfall and just a 50 minutes drove from Beamish living museum - both of which are dog friendly. There were certain buildings the dogs were not allowed in Beamish but there are miles of grounds to play out in.

As we all have dogs and may want to take them with us... have you any suggestions for holdiay destinations etc that are dog friendly and where you had a great time?
