Beaches in North Wales

As we all have dogs and may want to take them with us... have you any suggestions for holdiay destinations etc that are dog friendly and where you had a great time?

Beaches in North Wales

Post by smitty »

We are taking the caravan to Penmaenmawr on 13th April for a week. Wondering if anyone can tell me where the good dog friendly beaches are. We will be going to Llandudno to relatives quite often also but they do not have dogs so do not know good dog walks. Fudge only has to have 20 - 30 minute walks these days.

Talacre is our haunt, a huge sandy....and it has to be said, silty beach with sand dunes. Well marked from the road.

HI If you come off the A55 at Conway marina- take the turning to the caravan park and go into the public car park- you can go on the beach- Sandy one- got dog pooh bins etc
or in Llandudno main- go to the opposite end from the pier (little Orme) and you can go on the beach there- or Abergle (pensarn) or Llandulas (the last 3 are pebble beaches) :hello2:
