Labrador Rescue

It's Bailey's birthday tomorrow and this year he has one less toe - he had a sore place develop between the outermost toe and the next one on his right front foot and biopsies showed that it was a 'nasty', not sure what type yet but the vet recommended removing that toe which was done a week yesterday. He's healing well, walking well, especially now he has a new boot! (Thanks Mum, that's much better than the poly bags!!) He has been such a good boy, not needed to wear a collar at all, just have to pin him down for the dressing changes!! And that's not because it hurts at all, just doesn't want to keep still!

So Bailey will be 11! He has been with us for almost 7 and a half years. Alfie is OK too, managing his arthritis well on Loxicom, Glucosamine and Omega 3's. He will be 12 at Christmas!
