Ellieell supported dog

Post by janie1 »

Day 3 and Ellie has settled so well. She saw the vet yesterday and she has lost a little more weight. She doesn't understand though why we don't share our human food with her when that's all she's known. But we will help her lose her fat little belly so she can run and chase in comfort. The vet increased her dose of steroids for her poorly ears as one ear is looking quite red. Considering she must feel uncomfortable she is so good and very affectionate and all our neighbours and friends have fallen completely in love with her.
At the moment she is playing with her ball which my son is dropping from the top of the stairs. She loves her ball.
Two weeks today she was rescued but it feels like she has always lived here.
