Sad but lovely day

Post by norma3771 »

Today was the day we have been putting off for quite a while, but as it was a lovely sunny day we chose this morning to burry Lilly's ashes in the garden. We had bought a new tree for the occasion, and it felt really nice but so heart wrenching. Even the cat came over to say goodbye to his dear friend. There will always be a special place in our hearts that belongs to Lil, but we are looking forward to welcoming another true friend. Hopefully very soon. Norma x :2362:

Lily has her special place in your garden with a new tree to grow in her memory and you, as you say, have special memories of her always in your heart, but with room for another furry someone. Lily would be pleased. :love3:

Not a nice thing to have to do, but, a great thing to do in loving memory of your beloved Lilly.

You will be able to watch the tree grow, and in time, remember Lilly with all the fond memories and fun you had together. :love3:

You gave Lily a wonderful life after her horrid start. I cried when I read earlier posts it was such a shame she had to leave you so soon. The tree is a lovely tribute to a faithful companion who was much loved.

Thinking of you Norma, we know how hard it is, remember the special times.
