Just wanted to say Hi

We are looking to adopt a family dog.
We have recently moved into a new house and we feel all that is missing is a furry friend.
Both myself and my husband have grown up with Labradors as pets.
We have two children who love dogs especially Bobby and Izzy, retired service dogs who live with my father in law. They love taking them for walks and taking them for a swim in their local waterfalls. They love cuddling up with them.

We have decided that now would be a great time to bring a new addition to the family who would be well loved and cared for.

Can anyone tell me how I register to adopt.

Hi Laura and welcome to the Forum. This is an excellent Lab Rescue, well run by Glenys and her team and I thoroughly recommend them to you. Once you have been approved to adopt you may have to be patient until the right dog comes along but it will definitely be worth the wait. We adopted George a 10 month old black lab back in 2009 and he was the best dog we had ever had and we've had labs for over 30 years.

Hi Laura.

Just wanted to offer you and your family a very warm welcome to the "club"

We have Molly, affectionately known as Molls Dolls, from the rescue who has just celebrated her 11th birthday.

We have adopted two from the rescue. Scooby and Molly. Sadly, Scooby has passed over to the Bridge. Both fabulous dogs,, loved to the moon and back.

How beautiful are those two.
A friend of mine had a dog called Scooby he was a loving dog. Which I'm sure is the same for your dogs.

A warm welcome from us also we have 4 labs 1 chocolate and the other 3 are black. Bonnie came from Glenys our other 3 we seemed to acquire from other people that no longer wanted them, they are all super dogs.

Once application is in it can take a while to get your best friend. It took our family several weeks and quite a few dissapointments. We never gave up and in May 2015 bought home our Bentley. Best day ever, worth every tear of dissapointment and upset when we missed out on several labs. Bentley was meant for us and we love him to bits. So keep looking and your best friend will arrive. All at lab rescue are dedicated and a fantastic team.
