I am thinking more long term really as the cost will be so much less and also the washing won't be that much really. If she has nice solid poos then the mess will be minimal.JoanG wrote:The washable nappies sound a good idea but I haven't any experience of looking after a dog like Willow and as Willow is doubly incontinent I don't think i would want to have to wash nappies as well as having to wash her to keep her clean. Obviously we all have to clean up after our dogs and wash things when they have accidents or are ill but if you had to do that day in day out on top of everything else Willow needs it might perhaps be just too much.
Would she need a particular size of nappy, they seem to be much more sophisticated than when I used them twenty years ago
Lovingly known as wheelydog - Willow had a spinal injury and used a frame with wheels in place of her back legs. Hydrotherapy, a loving home and one year later she is walkig without her frame and continies to improve
