I think That Jan should have a medal for her dedication to Milly
A quick recap is that Milly ( Then Willow see her story http://www.homealabrador.net/happyendings/willow.php ) was in an accident and her family took her to the Vet Hospital where the Nurses took her to their heart the family couldnt commit to her long term care I was approached by the nurses who were all convinced with loving care she would turn her life back many of you contributed to her care and swimming .
Jan took her on and its been a tough expensive battle not once has Jan asked for help since she took her on .
I am hoping now to change that I want to help even if its us all looking for socks and towels etc...
Not many people would have done what Jan has done if I am brutally honest a decision made by Nurses and Vet to keep her alive (I said it was brutal) may not have been thought out properly because its a miracle that Jan came along.
Having said that Milly is a little star and loved and yes my eyes are leaking

Another MKF miracle .

If anyone wants to help Jan as mentioned I know she uses pampers on her contact Ian or me please by email we will sort out how we can do it

For anyone wishing to make a small donation to help the rescue provide some nappies, vet bed and neoprene boots for Jan to help with Millys incontinence in the house and protect her feet as she drags them on the floor I have added a donation button to the bottom of her update story.

Jan would also appreciate any toddler socks your youngsters have perhapse grown out of or towels which she used to clean up after Milly to save on kitchen roll

For details where to send towels and socks, please drop Glenys an email on labrador.rescue@btinternet.com as it is not appropriate to show an address on the website

It is so lovely to see and hear how Milly is getting on, I often wonder about this girl but by she is enjoying life! I cannot believe those pictures of her on the beach it is so lovely to see her doing that. As for Jan, well she is one very special person to have taken on Milly with all of her problems, I don't think there are many people in life who would show such dedication to a dog particularly to a dog that was not initially theirs to begin with. Milly is a very lucky girl to have Jan and her family.
