Monty update at Christmas

Monty is doing OK and I think he has enjoyed Christmas. He has had more presents that he knows what to do with and all but the treats squeak. He loves playing with the soft toys and although he does occasionally chew them he rarely tears them. He runs round the house carrying or throwing them around and all we can do is laugh. The grandchildren adore him and spoil him rotten. The cats next door wear bells on their collars and everytime he hears them he races to the door, just stands and stares at them, imagine what its like with the xmas bells on the tv, he is convinced that there are cats in the tv.
He looks at it, tilts his head and then goes up to the screen and then looks round the back and eventually he races to the door.
His recall is still work in progress, his walking is quite good now. One of the schools and one of our local parks allows us into their multi games area to run some steam our of him as they are both secure areas. And yesterday he was running around with a GSD (in the enclosed area) and they had a great time. He only met the dog yesterday and the owner was only too glad to let his dog play with him. We walk miles every day and he meets lots of people who fall in love with him, and he still wants to play with every dog he sees.
Thanks for letting us have him, life would be very quiet and boring without him.
