Update on Cassie

Post by marieb »

We fell in love with and adopted Cassie (choc lab) in November from MKF. She joins Poppy (yellow lab) who was also adopted from MKF four years ago. The two of them got on so well from the moment they met flying around Glenys' muddy field! They love to play-fight so there's no chance of a lie-in with these two boisterous girlies jumping all over the bed! They really do make an adorable pair and we are very happy to have been able to give Cassie her new forever home. Many thanks to Glenys and Sam for making this possible.

Marie, Chris, Poppy, Cassie and Sox

ps Glenys, she is okay with cats!

pps will post pix later when I've got the hang of it!

hello marie chris poppy cassie and sox

I am cassies previous mum, every day since putting cassie up for adoption i have been on the site waiting for news on cassie, ive been feeling so low but you have no idea how happy your message has made me feel, i knew she had found a lovely home but to hear how good she is doing has made me feel great, and that she has a lovely sister is wonderful she will love that. I still sometimes forget she is no longer here when i go to do certain things, all my doggy friends have been asking after her, now i cant wait to tell them ive had some news, i will look forward to the piccys of her with her new family, im just so made up. We fly to oz in five weeks and my friends have said "you had better cry when you say goodbye to us the way you did when you said goodbye to cassie"! Me and my friend cried all the way home on the motorway after taking her to glenys, Im sat here crying now but its because im so happy that she has found a wonderful loving home
a huge thankyou for taking cassie into your lovely family and give her a massive kiss and hug from us all

karen xxxxxxxxx

ps thats great news about the cat as she has never been around cats before :s6:

Lovely update, so pleased Cassie is settled.

It must be nice Karen to hear news about Cassie, not everyone registers with the site once they have adopted so I am pleased you have news - Cassie is certainly happy.

Dear Karen.

It was lovely to read your post this morning!

You can rest assured that Cassie is really settling in well with us. She and Poppy go on lots of different walks. down the beach, and in the local parks, where they are both popular with the other doggy friends they meet and play with.

Here are some pictures of the girlies, hope you like them! We will continue to post updates and pictures from time to time so you can see how Cassie is getting on in her new home.

Happy New Year to everyone at MKF and all the supporters of Lab Rescue!

Marie, Chris, Poppy, Cassie and Sox the cat xx

thankyou marie for those lovely photos you posted it was brilliant to see her, now i can picture her with her gorgeous sister poppy and imagine them playing together, we cant stop looking at the pictures, its great. As soon as we saw the picture of cassie sitting very ladylike with her front paws crossed we laughed cos thats just her, she used to sit like that on a pouffe stool infront of the window nosing at everybody walking past lol, I will check in this site now and again for future updates thats very kind of you, you have two beautiful girls and i bet its lovely watching them running about and playing together. Thankyou once again and Thankyou to glenys and all her hardworking team for everything you do at the rescue your absolutely amazing, i cant sing your praises enough when i tell people about the rescue.

karen and family xxx :s7:

ps how on earth did you get cassie to sit still for a photo, she always used to move just as we was about to click the button
