Hi, not been on here for a while, but I thought I would let you know how Alfie is getting on.. He came to live with us from the rescue 3 and a half years ago, he is now 11 years old, he is doing really well, He's also lost 13kilos in weight. through diet and exercise,, but alas Alfie has got arthritis in his front elbows, so he is on Metacam, he's is now bouncing round like a puppy, enjoying his walks and ball games, a new lease of life, the vet also x rayed his hips and they are fine no sign of any ailments.. Blood tests done all fine in that area too all organs doing what they are suppose to do..
Alfie has got his own Facebook page with Lucy our new dog we got after we lost Bella Button to Renal failure. Alfie and Lucy help me do a lot of fund raising for Labrador Rescues..
I have just walked none stop, The London to Brighton Challenge 100k for Labrador Rescue Scotland. In Sept we will be walking none stop, The Thames Path Challenge 100k for Chorley Labrador Rescue, I haven't told Glenys yet Lol, but its on the cards..

We will contact Glenys later, a bit closer to the date, we are very busy putting mum throw the paces and getting her into shape, we have to be getting the new trail shoes, and make her walk and walk so she won't get blisters BOL ("")("")

Very pleased to hear that Alfie Moon is doing so well. Thank you for the update. My beautiful Meg was on Metacam for the last five years of her life; it suited her very well and meant she was pain-free and could enjoy life again.
Well done for all the fundraising you're doing. That's really impressive. Good luck in September x
