Jack & Tess go Munro-bagging

Post by Nesslabs »

On Saturday Jack & Tess climbed two Munros south of Loch Laggan. Their first task was to motivate us on the long walk in.

Here they are at the lochan we found one hour ten minutes from the road. An idyllic camping spot!

Jack is in training for a new Olympic event - the dogs pulling middle aged women up hills event - and is showing great promise! He quite likes it as it's the one time he's not told to walk to heel! :D

We got some great views on the way up and had to cross snow fields which the dogs loved.

They were very good all day and a pleasure to have on the hill - real stars!

Fabulous pictures. It looks so beautiful, the dogs come in handy for helping with the steep climbs  I always make sure I have a dog at that point and then swap when it comes to the downhill event!

Thanks for sharing.

What stunning scenery and what gorgeous dogs. They suit the setting so well. I see there is still some snow up where you were. It looks like you had a great day out. Maybe we should put all our days out stories together in a book!!!

Lovely photos, Kathleen! Scotland is so beautiful! Here the summer has just arrived - Tilda has slowed down considerably as she always does in the warmer part of the year - she will be back in October... :D

Jack and Tess are as gorgeous as ever and what a great life they have with you, Kathleen!

Love Mia xx

Who needs motivation with views like that. Great photo's, Lovely dogs.

I do sometimes use Balee to pull me up the odd hill. My husband says he should have a little cart to tow. (not with me in it I might add).
