We came back from holiday and we decided it was time to get another "furry son". I saw Bobby on Lab Rescue ( he was called Drum at the time) he fitted the bill perfectly, male 7 years old, and liked to chase a ball.
He was quite agressive when we first met, pulling on the lead and barking at me (FEAR). I knelt down and talked quitely to him and let him decide if he trusted me. Once he settled Janice and I took to him for a walk and a play in the paddock at MKF, we knew right away he was the boy for us. When we came off the paddock to talk to Glenys Bobby just lent into my legs, as if to say don't leave me.
Bobby is a wonderfull boy and we love him to bits, he now has a younger "brother", a 14 month old black lab called Diesel, they get on like a house on fire and Diesel has cured Bobby's fearfull agression, Bobby lets Diesel run up to other dogs first and when Bobby sees all the tails wagging he joins the fun and plays like a pup.
We love Bobby to bits and he loves us. He is the sort of dog you just know would lay his life down for you, he is that loyal. We are just so happy we can give him a good home and a happy life with us for the rest of his days.
Bobby and Diesel are both coming on holiday with us in the summer, to Porth Cawl South Wales so they should have plenty of fun playing on the beach and in the sea, Bobby loves to swim.
Here's a picture of the hansom boy
