Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers for our little fighter and not forgetting Zak.
Max came out of the high dependency unit today, he's comfortable but still not eating so they are going to try him with some warm chicken. Just praying he starts eating as he'd already lost 5kg. They said the surgeon will call me tomorrow. During the operation they have also taken a few biospy of his intestines so just hoping and praying the results are good news.
Sorry, I haven't posted earlier but the days are hard at the moment. Please continue to keep our boys in your thoughts as they need all positive thoughts possible.
Thank you all again for your support and kind words, they mean alot to all of us.
Love

Dear Amanda and Jim
I'm continuing to keep you and both your boys in my thoughts and send dear Max and Zac even more positive and healing prayers.
Really hope that Little Max can be tempted to eat that would be a massive step and everything is crossed that you get good results from the biopsy.
for you stay strong

Still keeping all crossed for Max, and thinking of Zac too, Amanda.
One hurdle crossed, and given time hopefully little Max will eat something. He's been through a lot. All crossed that his results are ok.
Big hugs for you all - can imagine how difficult things are for you at the moment, but we're all thinking about you.

Re: More prayers for Little Max - Update 6/6
Hi Everyone
Thank you again for keeping Little Max in your thoughts and Zak too.
This morning Little Max still hadn't eaten and specialist concerned as he'd had the runs which could cause dehydration although said he was still comfortable and bright so didn't want to drip him at this stage. She said it's difficult with his IBD as limited to what he can be tempted with as can't give him cheese or ham. she said they would try chicken again.
After speaking to her Jim said about white fish which he can have so called back and this afternoon we got the best news from his specialist that Max had wolfed down his fish and eaten well this afternoon, wagged his tail and given her a number of baths with his licks, so if continues the same tomorrow and runs stop we might be able to bring him home when we take Zak for his chemo Thurs.
Still waiting for biopsy results but that's another hurdle but at least our beloved boy today has eaten which is a milestone in itself.
Thank you all again for your positive and healing thoughts for our beloved boys, as I really do believe they work and hope you will continue them. Your kind words are also a comfort to both Jim and me and appreciate them, as each day is still a struggle.

Aw, that's great news Amanda. So pleased that Max has eaten. Keeping all crossed that he continues to improve, and praying hard that the biopsy results are ok.
