Sleeping arrangements?

Post by Melliott »

Thought you might like/relate to this:

Now I lay me down to sleep
The king-sized bed is soft and deep
I sleep right in the centre groove
My human beings can hardly move
I've trapped their legs, they're tucked in tight
and here is where I pass the night

No one disturbs me, or dares intrude
Till morning comes and "I want food"
I sneak up slowly to begin
and nibble on my humans chin
For mornings here, it's time to play
I always seem to get my way

So thank you Lord for giving me
This human person that I see
The one who hugs me and holds me tight
and shares their bed with me at night

Hope you enjoyed

Lots of Love Sally and Mason XX

Well Sally and Mason I thought your poem was lovely, you are very lucky if you do get to sleep between your humans and wake them up in the morning. Your photo is stunning too, in the future is mum going to be looking for a yellow friend to complete the set?

Sally and Mason, your photo is just beautiful and we can definitely relate to your poem although Fynley's
not on the bed at the moment but sure he will be when he's bigger :1967:

Sending you both a :bighug: :bighug:

Sally and Mason, we love your beautiful photo how stunning you look, like two supermodels.
The poem well that says it all, is that what you do? But I loved it, I am not letting our girls read it though!! 4 dogs I don’t think so.
:bighug: :bighug: for you

Thank you for this! It really hits the spot for us at the moment - Alfie always came up to share our bed at some point in the night, lately often right form the beginning, and there was that wonderful warmth in the middle of the bed!

Our mummy would love a yellow friend for us, our daddy says she would have to swap her car for a van :1968: :1968:

Liz - Mummy and Daddy used to have 3 labs and they all slept on the bed - but don't worry we won't tell your girls :2008:

Thank you everyone for liking our poem, we love sleeping on the big bed, its so nice :love2: :love2:
