Toby mending broken hearts
From Kath ( deisal Kate )
This is Toby 6 years old lived with a little terrier friend in an outside run but his friend died and he was left on his own as his previous owner would not have 2 labs living in the house. I believe the other lab might have been his mum. He is going to have to get used to living inside all the time as there is no chance he is going to live outside.
He is off to the Doggie Parlour tomorrow to have a “Shampoo and Set” as he is a little mucky. I am not a great advocate of washing dogs all the time but there comes a time in a dogs life when they need one.
Just like Jackie who adopted Sam a home is not a home without a greeting and tail wagging when you have been out, to fall over when in the kitchen or they are hogging the doorway incase you try to escape without them.
We have come straight to the boat for a couple of days to acclimatise him with his surroundings, this will be his second home at any given time.
I know Megan and Balee will approve at Rainbow Bridge
Well what have I found out
1. Boy does he counter serve nothing is out of reach from him.
2. Pinched the salted peanuts – 5 minutes later returned them
3. Does not do traffic
4. Barks at strangers – just ignore him and he comes to you to play.
5. Ducks if you move to quickly he thinks you are going to hit him I think – No Way
6. He is ABSOLUTELY Beautiful.
Already had an offer of a home for him Good thing he is a friend or he would not be invited again.

Fabulous news, Kath. I’m delighted for you. You did exactly the right thing and I’m sure Balee and Megan would approve. Toby will be a big help in mending your broken heart, just as Jess did with mine. xxx
Love,
Aileen xx
