I texted lovely Katie this morning but I would also like to send her heaps of congratulations on her special day, she will make the loveliest autumn bride and I am sorry I could not make her evening celebration but am thinking of her loads today! Wishing you and Gavin and little George much joy and happiness xxx
Thank you everyone.
Despite a lot of hiccups the last 3 days before (car breaking down and best man stranded in London due to trains being cancelled to name two!), the big day could not have gone any better. It was above and beyond what I ever expected. The village hall looked amazing, the amount of food the chef from work did could have fed an army for a week and we all danced the night away. It just went in a blur though. It was hard to catch a breath!
Seamus made it into the day in one way and another. I had a caricature done of myself, Gavin, George and Seamus walking through an autumn would with Hull City bunting hanging from the trees. To say the artist had never met any of us and took it all from emailed photos, Seamus looked so lifelike it made me cry!
We had MFK raffle tickets for favours and as presents asked people to put donations in a post box to share between MKF and the home where I work.
My bouquet is now next to Seamus' ashes box in the lounge.
I'm sorry I've not been online much recently. My mum isn't well and what with the wedding and looking after a monkey of a 14 month old...I may not post, but I do read everything when I can. It's hard not having a hairy one in our lives. Hard to believe it's nearly 11 months without one now.
Much love to you all xx
Katie is was so kind of you to promote us on your wedding day it sounded like a perfect day and Seamus was with you I'm sure of that bless him and you for your kindness so glad it all went well and hope your Mum gets well very soon xxx
