Labrador Rescue is a voluntary organisation dedicated to the welfare, rescue and re-homing of needy Labradors.
Since the rescue was founded, the area we cover has dramatically increased and, with over 45,000 Labradors being bred in this country each year, there are more and more needing to be rescued or re-homed each year.
At the rescue we have dogs arriving and being rehomed on a daily basis. Quite often, all our kennels are full of dogs needing a new home. Before dogs are rehomed we ensure they are in the best of health and have had any treatment needed. This can result in Vet bills which can total over £1000 each month. On top of this there is food to buy, electric to pay for to run the heated kennels and a wealth of other expenses that need to be paid to keep the rescue running.
To help us continue our work we have a standing order scheme where supporters can make regular payments through their bank accounts. As little as £5 a month can make a tremendous difference to us.
