Two Happy endings

Post by Glenys »

I am so happy to say two of our long stayers got homes recently Ivy and Ebony

Ebony was with us approx 12 weeks she had a nervous bark when meeting new people but she went through the happy gate this week it does go to show that there will be the right home someday and each day here they are learning we tell them it will be your turn soon and it usually is

We received this :

Hi ladies,
Just to let you know Ebony is fine, after a long discussion last night with her about sleeping arrangements, she wanted our bed, she lost-and we all had a peaceful night, her on her own bed.
She's a real sweetie, no aggression and with a bit of gradual training she will be great. Very alert and intelligent.
We have renamed her Ellie, and you'll be pleased to know you won't be getting her back, she's our baby now, I just wish I had one tenth of her energy !!
She's asleep at my feet now, had a long walk this morning and a play in the garden.
Nice to meet you both yesterday, keep up the good work.
Regards
Tony Morgan

Ivy has gone to some lovely people without another dog which is important as it was discovered this was the best way to go as she did have issues with other dogs which we were not aware of at first the rescue and her new family will be working with a trainer to try to sort this problem out and all seems we at the moment.

All the best homes come to those who wait. Absolutely delighted for these two. Way to go Ebony and Ivy.

Blimey, that's got me singing that song "Ebony and Ivory." :?

Hi Glenys

I cannot express how happy we are for Ivy. So many people have asked where she's gone when we've been out with Jake. It was such a difficult decision and has been hard for me to explain without welling up. Please keep us updated as she will always be in our hearts even though we only had her for a few months.

You do such a fantastic job!

Best wishes :love6:

What fabulous news for both Ebony (now Ellie), and Ivy.

What lovely Christmas times they will have, them and their new families. Hope they both go on to have happy loved lives as I'm sure they will.

Good Work Glenys & Co.
