We have taken at least ten calls in the last 48 /72 hours for dogs to come in rescue all 12 months or under Its the same every year July and august we can tally most of these up to impulse buying or Christmas dogs or similar all these
will find loving homes . I also wonder is it because its holiday time could that play a part too ? not wanting to pay or unable to get boarding etc .
So forgive us if we are set against and get worried puppies sold on the Internet or puppy sales places where people can just impulse buy an animal may it be dogs ,cats ,horses etc this should be planned and budgeted for and be a cherished part of the family.
We do understand peoples circumstances change and cannot be helped and we are also so glad they call us , we do not judge at all just seek the best possible homes so these dogs have a forever home .
So we are now juggling space to accommodate these babies because that is what they are they are young dogs in in full grown bodies and sometimes need leadership and be allow to learn.

Yes Glenys I agree with what you say, and I do think quite a lot of people think oh good idea let’s get a dog.
At Christmas summer holidays are a long way off, I do not know but I believe it is fairly expensive to board your dog, so this is another expense at this time of year.
I know circumstances do change, but it makes me very sad that sometimes beautiful dogs just get binned.

Sadly its a throwaway, 'bored of that' society and a lot look as pets as accessories, very sad.
