Rocko

Post by Glenys »

A little happy ending for you.
Early in the year a young lab came to rescue at five months he was homed but soon came back
We worked with him then he went to another home sadly that didn't work either hes not aggressive but very willful .
More assessment by kennel Sam
playing games playing search
No time limit here for him.

So he had a trial with the prison service where he did well but was returned due to losing concentration so again Kennel Sam worked with him and recently he went for another assessment and has been accepted as a search dog and is doing well !
So its not always easy but the right life is found , we do not give up
Rescue is there if things dont work
I want to point out he was never aggressive just needed to work, to have a job to do, he needed a challenge.
So well done Rocko in your new career
