November update

Post by Glenys »

An update on things going on in rescue at the moment to highlight our work most of you know anyway .
This week Supported dog Jem was spayed and a repair to a hernia sadly also had to have mammary tumours removed and we are waiting for the results Clare Her Mum has been busy as Jem is also under the Eye Vet as well which we also support .this weeks account for Jems operation £473.68
We also support Paisley who the auction is kindly supporting his account for his second operation , the first was 1342.36 including consultation 225.46 PLUS INITIAL CONSULT 107.31.
HIS next operation for the second eye removal is on the 6th of November
We also support Kipper ,Buster ,Billy and Skye she who came in with a terrible skin problems a few years ago we have supported many dogs who would not otherwise have not found a home .
It must be said Kippers family do contribute towards his vet fees monthly.
Vets bills are bigger now for our rescue than ever before but would we refuse a dog in need ? No ! it would be a sad day should that day ever arrive and if it ever does I think we will hang up or boots because it would be unbearable .
The reason for this post is that our Rescue isn’t just about re homing dogs it Is about not turning a dog down through old age or illness but its hard sometimes when we seem to be needing fundraising but necessary and so many of you are already supporters going the extra mile the goodwill received by us is overwhelming and very much appreciated.
So please think of dear sweet Paisley on the 6th,thank you for helping him .

On behalf of the team lots of Labrador love to you all xxx

It's good to hear all the stuff that's going on in the background. What a wonderful and dedicated team you are. Thank you Glenys and Co.

And what great job Sue is doing on the fundraising Facebook page too.

Love Cathy
