Very Cheeky puppies

Post by Glenys »

Carol has updated me today the pups are realy getting cheeky now they woke her up at 5am naughty Mum Gracie has refused to go in a top them up so Mummy number two Carol had to fetch food :thumbright: .
At this stage it gets harder on the Mum as the pups have sharp teeth and are very demanding as the weaning process gets under way Gracie will spend less and less time with them this is especially important as Gracie is not much more than a pup herself.

Carol will update very soon.

Ooooh, I love every update!!! :love2: Can't wait to hear more from Carol! I expect they have grown even since Carol's last update on the 24th! Bless Gracie, you can't blame her for wanting a bit of "me time" :love2: x

Aww bless, thought the little spikey teeth would soon be coming through!! Poor Gracie it must hurt so much and she's only a baby herself really. My mum's lab had 11 pups many years ago and she soon got fed-up with the feeding lark. The little mites are growing so much too. I'm sure Carol will thicken the last feed to try and get them through the night.

You're doing a wonderful job both of you!

Gracie has obviously decided enough is enough lol!!! Poor Carol must be exhausted with 7 demanding little mouths to feed at all hours and a rebelious mummy giving her no help but i'm sure it will be worth it when they go to thier forever homes.

This to me is good news as it means the pups are being weaned. You cannot blame Gracie if she is getting fed up she is only a baby herself and is now having a taste of a normal life that has to keep being rudely interrupted by 7 hungry pups.
February will be a special month as it will be Mij's second gotcha day on the 15th and hopefully not long after that it will be the day I get Gracie. :love5: :love5:
Carol is doing a fantastic job and it is lovely to know that Gracie and her babies could not be in better hands.
So keep eating little ones cos I WANT YOUR MUM!! :love3:

You cant blame Gracie for her reluctance. All those little hungry tummies are going
to need filling often. :1963:

Do you know what is lovely about this theme, is that Carol will not lose touch of Gracie when she goes to join Mij and the rest of her brothers and sisters as I am sure she will get regular updates. You are doing a wonderful job Carol so here are some flowers. :love3:

Poor Gracie, she must get so sore when being `attacked` at feeding time by all them tiny teeth.

Yes the puppies are getting very cheeky (very cuddly too though). Here is a cheeky scamp ripping newspaper this morning :1970:

And here they all are attacking an elephant :2026:

As you can see they are now discovering life outside the whelping pen :2008:
Gracie is now enjoying life. She had a whale of a time the other day "helping me wash the car". She loves the hosepipe :bounce:
She is also having great fun playing ball on the field. :2093:

She really is a stunning dog. I'm suprised she doesn't knock herself out with that impressive milk bar when she plays ball!!!!!!!!!!! :1970:

The pups are just lovely.
