I have just had a call from Dog Lost, as Jet's details are on their site, and the lady I spoke to has have said that their members will certainly join in the fund raising also which is good news too.

The photo's have arrived. Particulaly Jet2 and Jet4 are pretty unmistakable. I'll be VERY surprised at any diagnosis other than Cherry Eye, a prolapse of the tear gland of the third eyelid. I'm as convinced as it's possible to be without seeing the dog.

Thank you John and for your advice which is its possible to treat this condition

This link is a bit scary but it is what people have experienced we will be looking to get the best eye surgery/treatment whichever is necessary for this girl

What a beautiful girl, so sad that she was left when needing treatment, I can never understand why people gets dogs if they give up so easily at the first sign of trouble.

I will send through some £1's for this girl :thumbright:

Isn't cherry eye the problem that great dane's and bloodhounds etc with droopy eyes? I've never heard of it in a lab before. Poor girl she must be in a lot of pain. She's absoloutly gorgeous. Hopefully there will be some form of treatment and she'll be fighting fit in no time.

Jet is a beautiful girl - thankfully she is on safe hands now and will receive the best possible care. Hoping for a full recovery for this girl - donation on its way.

Thank you everyone again for your kind donations I spoke to Karen earlier Jet is going to Rutland house Vets where they have an eye specialist I think its thursday and ....... I may just MAY have a possible forever home for her :thumbright: news on that soon but we need to sort her out first find out what can be done xxx
