Labrador with wine

Whilst away on holiday last week, on the last evening a little incident occurred involving one lab, a table and a glass of red.
Needless to say, the wine hit the very pale carpet, which fortunately had been treated to prevent stains but even so I had to work hard to get the wine out of the carpet. After much work all evidence removed, checked again in the morning and all okay, I had got away with it and no one else new of the incident – or so I thought.
After morning walk with Ted & Katie, when we got back inside the house the OH asks “ why has Katie got purple patches on her back and tail. I had completely missed seeing them even though they showed up well as Katie is very light coloured.
Confession time for me.
