The rewards of rescuing a labrador. By Madison''s mum

Post by xenotime »

I just wanted to share a video I put together today. I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome and with it comes a lot of chronic pain and horrible symptoms. Madison has helped me deal with so much. She even brings me the post as soon as it gets shoved through the door. Words can't express how much this girl makes me laugh every day and helps me get through the tough times.

When I'm able to, I play the keyboard and today I recorded this song for Madison and put it to a video of some of her photographs. I thought you might like to see it.

To those considering rescuing.... do it! Take a lost soul into your heart and that lost soul will reward you ten fold.

This is the reason you rescue a labrador!!

Much love to all xxx

Thank you for that.

I must admit it brought me to tears. Truly your music and pictures say much more than words can express.

Lump in my throat, tears in my eyes. That was so beautiful (just like Madison)

I remember her arriving at rescue and thinking she was so much like my beloved old girl who had gone to the bridge. I was sorely tempted but, so pleased you rescued each other. Thank you so much for your tribute to this beautiful girl.

I have to say, she is very fond of her head wear. :love2:

That was a beautiful video and music to celebrate your Madison. Made me cry a bit but you are right our rescue dogs are special and Madison is obviously particularly special for you the way she helps you cope with your illness. A treasure to have in your life indeed.

A lovely video to see. :love3:

Thank you everyone for taking time to watch the video and for your lovely comments.

Madison has just had a lovely time in Scotland and the best of it is, we are moving to Scotland at the end of January so she will have an even better life with new walks in the forest and the lochs and beaches.

I'm going to be posting some nice photos of her recent holiday soon.

Thanks again. Have a lovely week
